Plagiarism Policy

International Journal on New Trends in Education and Their Implications (IJONTE) requires each author to sign the copyright agreement separately. However, if the authors do not have the opportunity to sign separately, the responsible author can sign it. Authors can also sign the copyright agreement electronically. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all authors are included in the copyright agreement and that the article is submitted to the journal, and for communicating with the journal and all other authors. The corresponding author is responsible for submitting the Turnitin or identificate plagiarism report. Authors should avoid self-plagiarism. Articles with a plagiarism rate above 15% are accepted for publication. This rate is checked by our journal editors and necessary measures are taken.Articles submitted to International Journal on New Trends in Education and Their Implications (IJONTE) are original and have not been published elsewhere before. Editors and referees check the submitted articles according to a comprehensive checklist. When necessary, they request research data from the authors. In any case, if the editors believe that there is an ethical violation in the research, they request the responsible author to withdraw the article.  Necessary corrections are requested by the responsible author for the article requested to be corrected. IJONTE requires ethics committee certification from the corresponding author and adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) principles.
